We've had some great stuff from the "old-timers" this year and some equally fantastic recaps from the many new and awesome recappers. I really can't name any names because every single person has added something unique and entertaining. Huge props to you all! If I'm feeling a little down sometimes all I have to do is fire up HT and have anything from a chuckle to good ol' belly laugh. I want to express my appreciation to the mods as well - without them there wouldn't be a Hamster Time and to run such a busy forum is a lot of work. Also, this has to be one of the most well behaved group of posters I've ever seen. It's a good thing, too - we need to save all our vitriol up for the hamsters!! So, I'm off to finish up my last of the BB6 recapping for the season, but you never know where I may pop up again..

Just ask anyone who attended my wedding. This has to be the best year ever for re-capping. You all have kept me glued to the computer and laughing and cursing and spitting various fluids at the screen. Thanks doesn't even come close to expressing the awesomeness (is that a word? Maggie? So I've been forced, forced to come in here almost every day and catch up the hilarious anecdotes of our resourceful, intelligent, snarky, and Jedi-worthy recappers. Thank you so much for keeping me in good with the boss, and your tireless work of the Lord. And, with any hope, BB will ban-ban the last 2 evictees, and give the whole shebang to Janey-Howie-Rachel-Kaysar because... because. Thank you again. Big hamster hug!!

Thank you and good job to all those who so diligently recapped this year, making up for those, like me, who could barely bring themselves to even watch the feeds they paid for this year. Thank you for the laughter. Thank you for perservering through all of the pee-pee and poo-poo talk. Thank you for letting us know what the Sith were up to, when we all know you'd rather be watching the Jedi. Another season, another disappointing ending with two assholes at the end. At least we'll see Kayser and Janey tonight! Of course, we'll also have to see the midget, so I guess you just can't fucking win with this show. Only a week til new TAR - and Kate Bush's new single comes out the same day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posts: 8 (09/20/05 18:39:19) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	wow! just a lurker here-- i have been reading recaps from the beginning of the BB6 season- (unlike the last two seasons- -where i always tried to "be strong" and say NO to HT recaps--and always ended up giving in after two weeks!) and i must say--you guys rock. all of you are such dedicated recap-maniacs. even in the face of the vilified Friendship! Man--you guys hung in there- -thru all of the nose-picking (April), the boobies (Howie) the DYKWIS/DYKWIM (April & Ivette) and my favorite: "i KNOW that." (Maggie). i could not have tolerated it myself. "y'all" have ears and fingers of steel. can't wait til next year--for like a true lemming--i will be watching BB next year. and i hope to find the recap season starting on the new site of HT.net! no more Ezboard please!

Ya'll stuck it out for the good, the bad, and the ugly. Or, as I like to call them, Janelle, Maggie, and Ivette. Heck, you guys even made it possible for me to watch the final show, since I wanted to see what sort of dirt the jury threw out on our two final wHoHres. Major thanks. Loved all you guys. Although the outcome was disappointing for most, I think that it was an interesting season, and I'm grateful for all of the recaps and screencaps that made it fun! Thank you for any and all that posted such positive messages in response to my posts. I honestly didn't realize that anyone paid me all that much attention but it is fun and gratifying to know that my fellow diseased, crazy BB fans enjoyed my posts and that we had a good time laughing and discussing BB6 together. And, I want to post my acknowledgment of the great posters on this board. There are far too many to go name by name and I know that I would leave out someone that deserved to be mentioned if I went name-by-name. I just want to leave it as a blanket declaration that EVERYONE that posted here was great - they brought a lot of fun and enjoyment to me and I'm sure many, many others. I can't honestly think of more than (counting on fingers ala Evillette) three or four posts that didn't bring something to the table. What should I say - three? Maybe four is better? (Counting on fingers some more) I'm gonna say three. Do you think three is a good number Maggie? Anyway - I had lots of fun reading and, despite being an arrogant, conceited bastard who always thinks he is more clever/witty/literate/talented than just about anyone else, I have to bow my head in humbleness (tempered with envy and jealousy, because after all I AM a conceited bastard) to all of you that dwarfed my best efforts. But, I'm not going to leave it just at that. I'm going to single one poster out as the MVP of the BB6 Hamster Time Live Feed Recap Postings (which pretty much is the MVP of all Big Brother Live Feed Recap posters as this site blows everyone else away). This isn't taking anything away from anyone else but I think all of us who recap and think our recaps are great have to acknowledge this person trumped us all. BEEZ! For creating the best non-character character in the BB House: April's Clue aka THE CLUE 2005 Beez BEST. RECAP. CHARACTER. EVER. geez, even better than the real characters for the last couple of weeks. Can't wait for next year and y'all better bring your A game - I'm already developing characters and bits as I type. Can't wait to see what y'all will do to top me and make me laugh. :)
