Re: One of Ivette's interviews | ||

Ivette still has a lot of growing up to do, but there is an honesty about her that is somewhat refreshing compared to some of the others. I hope she'll face up to some of her faults as her family and Tush help her deal with the reality of the house that she just couldn't see.

MEvette is still an idiot. I hate her all over again for her comments about Rachel.

I don't see Ivette as an honest person-- she's especially not honest with herself. An honest person would have confronted Rachel directly with any problems she might have had with her and provided an opportunity to work them out-- or, alternatively, not trashed her relentlessly behind her back or in situations where she couldn't fight back (like the goodbye message)-- even now, she's defending her behavior by demonizing Rachel as a person-- even after finding out the Rachel herself was the one that saved her from being voted out in a plan instigated by members of her own team-- though voting Ivette out would clearly have benefitted Rachel and her alliance.
She continues to demonize Rachel rather than face up to how wrong she really was-- when she does admit she was wrong about anything (regarding Maggie, for instance), then it's only because she has such a huge heart and was taken advantage of, and poor Ivette, she's just too GOOD and HONEST. I don't see any hope for her whatsoever. |

When I said Ivette seems honest, I say that partly because of the Rachel thing. Unlike April, Ivette doesn't totally change her opinion to go with who America liked. I think Ivette is delusional when it comes to Rachel, but I don't think she's just trying to be liked (April) or be famous (Jen).
When she says she should have teamed up with Janelle, I think it's because she appreciated the way Janelle played the game - as a game and not some chance to make best friends forever! I think Ivette really regrets getting so emotional in the game and that she picked the wrong people to team up with. And this is only the first couple of days. Give her more time to process everything and she might even come to change her mind about Rachel (who acted with more class than anyone in the house). But at least if/when Ivette comes to change her mind about other people in the house, I think it will be real. I don't think it will be because she wants to redeam herself in the eyes of the public. It will be natural and honest and that makes me cut her more slack than April. |

I have been reading interviews that Maggo & Ivette have been doing all morning. After I found a few that really asked good questions I noticed that Ivette is just plain & simply gullible. But just like a leader, just like friends you do not broadcast "Oh , thats just how big my heart is"
I was all ready to jump on the "poor Ivette" bandwagon for like oh....2 minutes until I read the interveiws & she is still not blaming herself.... But one thing I can say at least she is realizing what is going on, unlike Maggie who enjoys playing the "dumb blonde"(even though she is not a blonde) Maggie seems like she cannot get it through her head WE SAW EVERYTHING,hell she can even come here or other places and read her whole stay in the house blow for blow...she doesn't GET that everytime she uttered a word or took a shit(even though she announced it herself) we saw. I do not think she realizes her celeb status & it is not going to be as easy to go back into her ER as she thought. BB is "just a game" but something they seem to forget is alot of people take it to heart. How is Maggie going to feel when someone refuses her care at her hospital, I am sure some people will. Back to Ivette, the topic....I hope she does get " Aprils Clue" and realize she is not that outspoken and hopefully with help from her family & people who watched the show she can turn this into a huge learning expierience and growing session. |

MeVette Speaks! | ||

Mevette has posted a message to the Yahoo group administered by her Maggie. (I would like to take this opportunity to say that if I were Maggie, I would hate Mevette for the fact that everybody in North America is now calling me "Tushie.")
Anyway, Mevette's message is about half way down the page, # 2361. You can also read tons of replies. You do not have to be a member to read the messages. tv.groups.yahoo.com/group...scount=-30 ETA: the link! Dur! |

She's an idiot. Still. "Everyone else did it, why are you picking on me?" Blah blah blah. Good to see the Crappy worship is still strong and vibrant. Freak.
