Karen and Nakomis have both said they want Marvin gone. So, Diane should be safe. BUT .. if Marvin wins Veto and takes himself off, Drew can still put up one of the three remaining people. At the same time, Drew just put a great big bullseye on the Diane/Marvin alliance. Drew doesn't trust Diane? Good. He shouldn't. Sure, I would rather see Diane go because I loves me some Marvin. But, on paper (or on the CheezeIt box) it's not a bad move.

Diane would NOT nominate him, and he drew a line that showed he he could not necessarily be trusted. Marvin was a wildcard he could easily have struck a deal with. I think the problem lies not in what he did this week, or making enemies, but rather Drew now has an uphill battle to not be the next evicted (or maybe next after Cowboy).

If Drew did not put Marv on the mac and made some deal with him, Marv would be perfect to take with him to the final two (if Drew made it that far) because knowing that the Nadrias wouldn't vote for Marv and the girls don't like Marv (except maybe Di), that would be at least 5 (including Cowtard) votes in Drew's favor. I'm not sure about Will but Drew would definitely win it.

Strangely enough, and even though she is jury poison and he is well-liked, Diane actually DOES have a decent chance to beat Drew-- she gets Nakomis, Karen, and Marvin for sure, and probably Will as her fourth. Drew actually stood a much better chance facing either of the men, and really needed either Karen or Nakomis to go home this week. If he had sent one of them out, he'd have stood a very, very good chance of winning it all. edited to add: Okay, so Marvin isn't so happy with Diane, so Drew probably would beat her after all. I still maintain Karen and Nik are the biggest threats to him, and I don't know that he sees that. I don't know that Karen and Nik see how big a threat HE is, for that matter.

Karen has been very chummy with Drew, and was even steering Nik towards nominating Diane along with Cowboy last night. The Borg will choose anyone over Nik and Diane. Marvin isn't happy with Diane now, and at least on the surface (and until we see the eviction) understood the reasons for Drew nominating him. If it's a Cowboy/Drew final, Drew will probably get votes from Nik, Diane, Karen, Marvin and Will. The Borg will be torn between the suck up (Cowboy) and their Bible Boy (Drew). If it's a Diane/Drew final, Drew will probably get The Borg, Marvin and Cowboy .. leaving Nik, Karen and Will for Diane - IF they even keep their promise to vote for her - which they may not, based on recent convos between Nik and Karen.

If they can pull this off, Drew I think has all but clinched the half-million aside from the three following scenarios: 1. Nakomis wins veto and saves herself next week AND the final HOH, and takes Diane or Cowboy to the end. 2. Cowboy and Nakomis start a last-minute counteralliance to D&D. 3. Diane realizes that facing Cowboy is her only chance to win and stabs Drew in the back. Alternately, but less likely, Cowboy wins the final HOH and backstabs Drew to face Diane.
