Thank you all for recapping this charmless week of torpor. Never would I have thought that I'd be longing for the days of Dana so much... or that I'd find the BB2 cast so loveable in retrospect.

You all rock. Yup...that's pretty much what I came here to say.
Oh and a funny story (Not funny as in "haha", but funny in an "Oh, good lord NO" kind of way). I was walking by someone on a computer today and I saw in big letters "Mini-Lesion". Needless to say I freaked out and almost started screaming down the hallway while ripping my hair out. I mean, Lesion is bad enough, but a Mini-Lesion? Who's idea was that? Of course I felt like an idiot when I noticed she (the person on the computer) was actually going through a tutorial and it had said "Mini-Lesson". I hate what this show has done to me. |

Thank you thank you thank you to all who have made this such an entertaining summer/BB4. Particularly TVJunkie who came on strong in the second half. Have some matzo ball soup, dearie. That'll take care of that nasty head cold.

I've been a lurker since Evil Dr. Will, but I just have to add my two cents here and say that this is the best board evah! You are all fabulously talented and the fact that you've managed to make this season enjoyable is a testament to your wit. Thank you for helping me waste many happy hours here at Hamster Time!

I just want to say Thanks for all the recaps. you have all made the summer fun and interesting. I am hoping that next year when we have the best BB ever..(one can dream right), I will take a shot at recapping, either from the feeds or the broadcast.
Thanks for the memories I look forward to next year. |

Just want to add my love the pile. Thanks to all the recappers who did such a wonderful job. A special shout-out to Green Tuna whose daily morning round-ups actually made me excited to be greeting the day. I also want to thank Highwaygirl and overgme for always being consistently laugh-out-loud funny.
I also apologize for bailing on the night shift. I tried to recap, I did. But I lost the will. I promise to be better next year, regardless of how heinous the hamsters are. |

I want to thank everyone. You guys let me play your reindeer games for a while, despite my obvious shortcomings in comparison. Thanks for making me laugh and making me feel welcome.

I'm having seperation anxiety. My poor students tomorrow. I'll be taking my sadness and anger out on their whiny pathetic souls. What more can I say? To everybody here, From Admins to PODs to Hamsters, you all are the bestest ever.
HighwayGirl - You are responsible for the birth of the TunaNews. I lay all blame and thanks at your feet. Rappy - You crack me up all the time. I grovel at your famewhoredness, and hope to be as cool as you. Overg - I always call you "Overgame" because that's what it looks like. You have a funny name, and so do your pets. But your writing rocks the house and I smooch you!!!TC, here I come! Blurry - Blurry! Opheliagh - Thanks for keeping me company during the day. It's so much more fun with two. Ferfellaaaablat - I have no idea what your name means either. It looks like a drunken order for "Falafel". mheh - I always looked for your recaps first thing in the morning. TVJunkie - You am funny. MjForty - I'm going to hold you to nightly recaps next year. Everybody - I know I have forgotten a bazillion people. I read all the boards every day, and I wouldn't stick around if you weren't just the damn wittiest writers around. Thanks for letting me splash in the shallow end with you this summer. Remember, it only takes 440 recaps to write a mile! |

Quote: d'oh! You mean it's NOT "Overgame"? whoopsie! I've been saying it that way in my head too! duh! Thank you to everyone on these boards. Each and every one of you seriously inspired me to jump into the fray. I have been a lurker on TVWOP for a long time - since it was MBTV - but it was Hamster Time that got me going! I hope that next year I'm better at this. |

To All the Recappers, from the pros to the novices, thanks for a great summer! Your recaps were a daily delight. Looking forward to being with all of you for BB. May it not be as mind numbing as this bunch. A special shout out to the Admins and GreenTuna who really were the backbone of the organization. Here's to the snarks and the showing the true BB4 house. Take care.

Quote: A common mistake. As is pronouncing it over-g, over, overj, etc, etc, etc. For the record . . . It's pronounced oh-verg. Two syllables. The "me" is spurious. And before anyone asks, it doesn't mean anything. |

Thank you to Big Brother for inspiring me to re-read George Orwell's "1984". I hadn't read that book since Junior High School. I'm about half way through - and I must say - what the hell was LA Unified thinking when they had 7th graders read this book? I SOOOOO didn't get half of what was going on at that age. It's much, much funnier at almost 40 than it was at 13 or 14 when I read it the first time.
Side note - how the heck can CBS and the producers claim that the TV show Big Brother has nothing to do with "1984"? Or are they simply claiming the TV show isn't endorsed by the Orwell estate? I know there was a lawsuit filed when the first incarnation of the show aired - but I don't recall how that got resolved. At any rate .. HELLO? .. the two are SO obviously connected. duh. |

In what is no doubt the worst season of Big Brother, I can't say enough about all the wonderful recapping that went on here this summer. I could barely bring myself to watch these fools on most days, and recapped much less than last year, so I'm glad to see so many of the familiar and new faces picking up my slack. You all make this site a joy to read. I hope to see you all stick around for Survivor discussion, and for those who won't, I can't wait to see you next summer.

Allright - I actually did know it was oh-verge-me. (learned that last year after saying it overgame all season in my head).
Buuuutttt I've been saying frazzle. d-g. lispa. and just the other day I figured out it was frazzled glispa. Right? or maybe not. Anyway, Much love and kiss kisses to all of you out there - fellow recappers and loyal lurkers (after all, without an audience we wouldn't be needed). BB4 was only fun because of you all! And we have BB5 to look forward to because it would take a LOT to top the awfullity (yeah I made it up - whatcha gonna do, fire me?) of BB4. *knocking on wood* I sure won't feel that letdown from no live feeds this year. At my church, we have perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and someone is there 24 x 7. Hamster time is like that but it's perpetual abhoration instead. I will miss chat tonight dang it because I have a meeting I must attend but I wanted to pop by and say farewell for a while. Or at least until Survivor tomorrow night. |

It is indeed frazzled glispa, inky. Perhaps I should have used intercapping. Oh well, at least you figured it out before season's end.
Sigh. I'll miss the recaps and recappers - even if I won't miss the show. Oh well, here's hoping for a better season next year!! |

This place is addictive, I swear. What the hell happened to PVRunner? There was not a single recapper who took up reigns in here that didn't make me laugh my butt off. It was hell in the cubicle farm that is my office because everyone constantly wanted to know what was so funny.
FerfeLaBat was the creation of Rollingstone Magazine's second best writer after Hunter S. Thompson, Mr. Mike. Mr. Mike did a spoof on charity causes and took up the cause in France at the Home for sexually deprived prostitutes. FerfeLaBat was his poster girl. I got slapped with it in college and have kept it ever since. I have bookmarked all of your blogs and look forward to visiting you all during the sane season. I will miss you. It has been a blast. |
