Hamster Time: 12:23 a.m.

We come into Amy talking about herself, surprise, surprise. She didn't want to win on a unanimous vote. Brings up how she didn't want to lose on a unanimous vote and now she's won two on a unanimous vote. This proves to Amy that things happen for a reason.

L and A miss Britney. D says that Britney doesn't miss them. D teases J that Britney may call J. They share the same beliefs. D says "you'll could hook up." A talks about her nephew saying "git it, git it, git it." when he wants something. When her sister heard Britney say "git it, git it" her sister freaking out that her baby was listening to Britney. Sounds like Emily and Amy share a brain. Now talk about cute things that kids do. The way they say good-bye, the way they pat you when you hug them.

D was worried one of her children would have a speech impediment. To the point one of her teachers said "I know she doesn't speak English." Lisa use to act as interpreter for her younger brother. D feels that her daughter picked up her speech problems because Javier's parents spoke broken English and they lived with them for a while. Her daughter didn't talk until she was 5 years old. L claims she didn't speak until she was 5. Which might explain why she talks so much, now. She has all those formative years of silence to make up for.

Hamster Time: 12:35 A.M.

Some discussion about bed assignments. Wow, looks like it might be an early night. We have Jason in HoH. Marcellas has taken over 4077. Lisa, Amy and Dani are in Tiki Room.

A warns M not to sneak off to the storage room, they'll know what's up. M says the 4077 will not drive him crazy. He'll get into the spirit of the thing He says he'll be just fine. A says Roddy said that, too, I remember.

A joins M in 4077 to tease him. She says he's the only one who started out in 4077. She says he was always hanging out in the HRD, hanging out with the cool people. M says he hated looking in for the first time in his life. Not one of the cute people. M starts going on about how he's cuter than Jason. I like when Amy and Marcellas are getting along because they're quite funny. Marcellas is completely reorganizing the 4077. He's taking all the matress pads and forming one bed. Now they're smelling the sleeping bags to see which one smells the worse. They have rejected three. They've given up on the sleeping bags and are now moving onto the blankets.

M complaining again about the shutting down of HRD. He brings out a comforter that Amy teases him came from the "rich folks who brought things down to the Section 8." A says she would just sleep on the floor. M says he's not sleeping on the floor, he doesn't know where it's been.

M claims R took a gray Gap shirt. A teases him that he's alwasy trying to find something wrong with R. M says don't be defending that man. A teases him that he told R "keep that shirt because it looks better on you than it does on me." M says I know I said that but what I meant was "I don't want that shirt after it's been on your skanky body."

Now they're wondering about who took stuff out of the HRD. Joking about the stuff they took out of it.

A now testing M's cot out. She says "mmm, comfy." M teases A about having to sleep in a room with the lizards. Have them scratching at their door. They hug good night.

M asks if he wants her to close the door and A says that they always close the door at night to "keep people like [M] out." A lays down in her bed. M is still fussing with the reorganization of the 4077 and J is reading the bible. I'm confused. Why does Jason get the bible and no one else gets a book to read? That seems very biased to me. What would keep me from stating that, as an atheist, the complete works of John Irving have immense spiritual significance to me and I have to read passages of Irving's works every night in order to maintain a hold on my moral compass. I mean, think about it. Irving and the Bible have a lot of similar themes -- acceptance of mankind despite their differences, familial relationships, a struggle to understand man's place on this planet, incest -- why shouldn't I be allowed my Irving? I mean, yeah, bears probably play more of a role in Irving than the Bible but that's what makes his work more relevant to me. Anyway, that's my argument if I ever lose what little sense I have and apply to on this show.

Jason is still in the HOH but it looks like everyone else is at least trying to sleep. Now, Jason is laying in bed and listening to his newly acquired Moulin Rouge CD. Are visions of Nicole Kidman in a bustier and garters dancing through his head? Hope not cuz I don't think Jason's Mama would be pleased about that. I sense Jason's dad would approve, however. I'm going to post and leave the feeds up in case something happens but it looks like, without the Rod to rope people into listening to his boring monologues and evil manipulations, the Hamsters are going to bed at a semi-decent hour. Looks like the morning recappers are going to have more stuff to work with.
