I know neither one of them would have made this choice, but who would have won head to head if it had been Lisa vs. Jason at the end? It would have been a lot closer than 9-1, that's for sure.

The Power of Veto should maybe be won and used in secret. They could call each HG to the diary room separate and have a game where they are timed or have questions in secret. Then they can ask the person who won it in the diary room if they want to use it and if so, who would they save. This could add an element of suprise to the game and we could see the POV used more.

Quote: ...another wonderful idea! I am amazed at the number of "producers" and "directors" in this forum that have EXCELLENT ideas! I loved the idea of the POV, but didn't like the fact that the HG seemed afraid to use it. Another wonderful poster had the idea that the person holding the POV be allowed to choose the HG that's nominated for eviction in place of the person they saved(sorry, I can't remember who to TM). They are both excellent ideas, IMO. |

they could also make the power of veto compulsory - if you win it you HAVE to use it. BUT! since the hamsters would know it was mandatory, also make it random. Like have it for the first 2 weeks so the hamsters will get used to it, then don't have it week three, have it week 4, but not weeks 5 or 6. Then weeks 7 and 8 have it. Plus make sure to have it when the ninth hamster is evicted but let that one be optional.
That would seriously fuck with the hamsters' strategy - especially if the winner was secret. hee hee hee. I get giddy just thinking about the turmoil that would throw the hamsters into. The reason that BB is my favorite reality show is that I find it very interesting from a sociological standpoint. The more wrenches that they throw into the works that function (sometimes) as the hamsters' minds, the more interesting the show becomes. Marcellus is the perfect example; he went into the house as quite an amusing person who was funny-bitchy. As time went along, and the pressure began to get to him, however, the amusing part went away and he turned into a narcissistic, vicious, EXTREMELY, bitchy monster who turned on his best friend because she wouldn't abide by the laws that he set down for her, and because APPARENTLY her butt had gotten too big. (How was that for a run-on sentence??) And just as a final note, I thought that Amy was beautiful, and didn't think that her butt was even remotely what would fall into the too-big category. If she should ever develop an eating disorder, I would encourage her to sue Marcellus for destroying her already fragile sense of self-esteem. Man, I went from the Power of Veto to Amy's butt as the topic of conversation, and it felt totally natural to me. I have a tangent problem. Peace ETA correcting the nasty typos that make me look illiterate |
