He freaked out a few times, lost his cool, and treated Chiara and Amy badly (not that I mind much about Chiara), but he didn't spend his days maliciously stabbing at the other houseguests. The irony is that one thing Dani appears to have liked about Roddy is that he didn't treat her like she was stupid. He was too kind to her, in my opinion. You know, I've been thinking about something else. Dani's apparently tried out for every reality show available. It must have taken a lot of time and energy to put together videos, letters, applications, etc., and it probably took some money when travel was involved. Add that to the number of TV shows and movies that Dani watches, and I have to wonder how this supposed paragon of a mother has any time for her family? Nobody knows what goes on in another person's marriage, but it wouldn't exactly shock me to find out that some of the "tough times" she and Javier have gone through are the result of neglect by virtue of TV-obsession.

But then again I don't think $50,000 is pocket change either. The thing is that Jason dumped on people albeit less than Dani but stood around in silence when bashing was going on and did nothing to stop it as well. He knew it was wrong but didn't act. That is just as bad. Maybe worse because when people know what is right and don't act it is a really big no-no in my book. But Dani is more extrovert and Jason is quiet so he gets the pass. What it comes down to is "perception." Marcellas was actually right there. Egos are invovlved and they react emotionally. I could never play a game like this because I would go in with a chess mentality and get hated right off the bat even though strategy is suppose to be at the heart of the game. Granted I'm don't bash people in the main, just hamsters. But it has always struck me as strange that so-called adults can't put aside the fact they were beaten in a game to vote for the person who played the game best. Especially when a lot of these same people were busy bashing others as well. I only give a bash pass to Lori and Gerry but I've heard all the others bash to one degree or the other. All a bunch of kettles if you ask me. Just saying.

I wonder, though, if for Jason (or anyone, for that matter) keeping silent isn't almost a strategic move? He doesn't want to join in on the bashing, but he doesn't want to stop it, because it might make his ally mad or make her question his loyalty. So he keeps his mouth shut. That's pretty iffy, I know. It's practically a highschool peer-pressure scenario, and these people are adults, so I can't make excuses. I agree that people who just stand by and do nothing aren't blameless, but I guess I'm more empathetic to people who don't want to make others mad, than I am to those who act like Dani. What I don't understand is why Dani, the woman who is so vocal about her supposedly compassionate and Christian nature, feels the need to trash people when there's nothing to be gained by it strategically? It still strikes me as nothing but stupidity.

I know, it sounds unlikely, but here's my count: Votes for Lisa: Roddy, Eric, Tonya, Marcellas, Amy Votes for Dani: Jason, Josh, Chiara?, Gerry?, Lori? Why would Chiara vote for Dani? I know Dani backstabbed her, but Lisa voted to evict her, and Chiara's always seemed a little jealous of Lisa. Why would Gerry vote for Dani? Because Lisa may have actually bashed Gerry more than Dani did. And Gerry might just give Dani credit for good game play. Why would Lori vote for Dani? I know she had a fight with Dani, but Lisa put her on the block for eviction. And Dani's a mom...that might influence Lori's vote. I don't know...it just seems like Dani actually has a chance to win the 500K.

I do think that Chiara, Gerry and Lori could vote Lisa but will probably vote Danielle. But Amy voting for Lisa? I don't know. I still think Amy will vote for Danielle and Lisa will lose 6 to 4. The vote is going to be close, either a tie in Lisa's favor, or Danielle winning by one vote. If Amy turns to Lisa, I think Lisa wins it all. Dani would have to be damn lucky to get Kiki, Gerry and Lori to all swing her way - and I consider them all swing votes. It could all come down to Lisa not trying harder with Gerry or Dani screwing up with Roddy if he influences votes against her - particularly Kiki.

But it would have been ever so sweet if she had evicted Dani, especially since Dani lied to her face, and promised to take her to the final 2 if she (Dani) won HOH. And it was SO obvious that Dani threw round 2, forcing Jason into round 3, and avoiding the possibility that she would have to expose her bald-faced lie to Lisa. I certainly hope that her arrogance, conniving, and mean-spiritedness prevent her from winning the big money. And I will still begrudge her the 50K. On the other hand, if I were in Lisa's shoes, I would probably pick her to go into the final 2, also, since it should be an easier win for Lisa.

IF it goes to America's Choice, I think Lisa will snag it. My predictions (in order of certainty): Lisa: Eric, Roddy, Marcellas, Tonya? Dani: Jason, Amy, Josh, Gerry, Chiara?, Lori? The final vote should be interesting because Roddy and Marcellas seem to be so resentful still. Such poor losers. They will want to trash Dani big time. But she's expecting it (from Roddy at least). Dani seems to think that the game is over now. But I say NO WAY. The more she blabs on and on about how she thinks the votes will go, she is giving PoD more insight as to who to work more in her answers to the final questions. Also, Dani giving up every single detail gives Lisa that same power. This game could still go either way. But, I will stand tall in admitting that the best two players are standing at the end. Jason was a sweetheart and played well, but Lisa got to the end as close to on her own as one could. She gets huge props for that. Dani gets my outright respect for truly masterminding a great game. Yes, she irritated me from time to time, but no one is perfect (ok, maybe Jason). If she would just not be so cocky about how great she was, she would have a better chance of winning. The only other person who truly had a shot to get to the final two, IMO, was Roddy. But Dani saw that too and worked to get rid of him. I hold my breath till Wednesday... Why can't it be a two hour finale? I want lots of reunion time! I will so miss this show!

It was the one time that a farewell speech was...well....not a glowing endorsement of the dearly evicted. I can't remember the words, but it was a sort of "you're due -- this is payback for Eric". Tonya, for whatever reason, said that she wouldn't vote for Dani. I can't remember why she had a hate-on for Dani. Mind you, Roddy's recent trip to Las Vegas and hooking up with Tonya might have had something to do with it....LOL Amy, based on her recent "It's Me!!!!!" letter to her web site said that she wouldn't vote for Dani.... Josh, based on his comments on Saturday's show thinks that Dani deserves to win... So.... Lisa: Roddy, Eric, Marcellas, Tonya, Amy Dani: Jason, Josh, Gerry, Chiara?, Lori? I'm guessing that Chiara might be loyal to Dani for giving her a vote and ticked (jealous?) at Lisa for not giving her a vote. I originally thought that Chiara might be swayed by the Roddy mojo, but I get the sense that she's trying to distance herself from the "Roddy/Chiara" couple and will try and act on her own. But I don't know, that Roddy mojo is freakin' powerful.... Lori, heck I don't know. She could remember the Gerrygate fight with Dani and still be pissed. Or, she could go for the "Mother" bond with Dani....I suppose it's wishful thinking on my part to put her on the Dani column... It's going to be verwy, verwy interesting..... I didn't notice the sign, but does anyone know if Canadians can vote for the "America's Choice Winner"? We've never been able to vote for anything else so far.....sob

I would think he might have some influence on her. And well, I can't imagine she loved Dani slamming Roddy all the time. Gerry will probably vote for Dani because of game play. But some people - think Gerry and Lori - might swing to Lisa because of the phone call. I think most of these people played with emotions and I think Lisa will be seen as a truely kind person despite her moments of flaws - like with Gerry. Marc said that people showed what type of people they are with the phone calls and that might really influence the jury. Last year's house might have voted for Dani, but I think this house will vote for Lisa. I believe it will be Roddy, Eric (nullified), Marc and Tonya for Lisa. Jason (nullified) and Josh for Dani. The other 4 are swing votes. That's 3 to 1 and Dani needs all 4 swing votes to win. If she only gets 3 - it's a tie. If she gets 2, Lisa wins. I think there is a good chance that at least one of Amy, Gerry, Kiki, or Lori will vote for Lisa thus producing a tie and a ok chance that two of them will go for Lisa. Kiki and Amy could be influenced by others, but are total wildcards in my opinion. Gerry and Lori will have to decide how they want to vote - game play, political correctness, or for a nice person. I have no idea what they will consider most important. If you split Kiki and Amy, and Gerry and Lori's votes to Dani and Lisa, Lisa wins. I think the only way PoD loses is if she vetos the wrong person, and with Dani confirming the alliance - Lisa vetos Jason for sure.

Right... - leaning towards Dani (the "funny" comment was nicer than either of the ones possibly about Lisa) Gerry - hates 'em both. Is disgusted by Dani now, WAS disgusted by Lisa before. It is exactly what she deserves. She played an excellent game within the house and deserves a monetary award. She played whatever role was necessary, using whomever she had to, to ultimately make it to the finals. She even gave up Jason and he still loves her. The girl is good! HOWEVER, Danielle did not think long range. She did not play the game on the outside of the house. She was often petty and mean-spirited to evicted houseguests for reasons that had nothing to do with the game. These are the same people that will serve as her judge and jury on Wednesday. It was stupid of her, an otherwise intelligent player. It cost her the big money. She deserves the $50,000., NOT $500,000.
