Most Important Houseguest? |

We know Danielle or Lisa is going to win this thing. But who made BB3 a winner? Which houseguest do you think made the show and feeds worth watching? Who impacted the game the most? This is the place to discuss who made BB3 the game/show it was . . .

Roddy all the way. When he was in the house, he was either controlling things or the target of the house. He provoked the strongest like and dislike from what I can gauge.

Amy for these reasons-
The rivalry with Chiara, then Tonya. The best of times and the worst of times with Marc. Her much hated by all friendship with Josh. Her returning to the house. Her flirting with Roddy and eventually Jason. All these things made the feeds fun to watch. She was definitely the most emotional of the houseguests- she was able to keep her composure during her six nominations yet cried more than anyone else in the house. She had style, she had grace (now I'm quoting Vogue-never a good sign) she got so drunk she fell out of the hammock! How can you say anyone but Amy made this season? |

Hi all, I'll give it to Marcellus. From his being the immediate "target" of the gang of six, to his surprising rescue via Gerry's Veto (kudos to Gerry for being one of the few, or was it the ONLY, houseguest to actually use the power of Veto?), to his winning HOH, to his on again/off again love fest with Amy, to his prancing and preening and frolicing, to his lusting after the other male houseguests, to his unforgettable overconfidence in NOT using the Golden POV to save his own neck, to his slap on the head from Julie for same, to the look on his face when Jason told him he was toast....now that's entertainment!!!!

I think I'll have to go with Amy too, and not just because she was the most entertaining hamster this year, but also because . . .
She made one of the worst first impressions in the history of reality tv with her "I hate midwestern accents", tons of makeup wearing, beer drinking in a tree, self. She and Gerry were the first two to bolt from the Original 6 alliance, leading to her being the first and only replacement nom against Lori, and also to her being the classiest of all nominees. She was entertaining as all hell with the BB pageant. Her feud with Chiara led to her feud with Tonya which in all likelihood led to Tonya's eviction over Josh in week 2. Her drinking was a pretty big source of tension in the house. Her friendship with Marc was one of the strongest relationships in the house, and led to some of the worst fights (which were, in my unbiased opinion, completely and totally Marc's fault). She was the third person out of the house. Her reentrance into the house shifted the entire balance of the game in one night . . . bringing the fun back to the house, and signaling the end of Roddy/Chiara, and the birth of POD. She was the catalyst for the Clash of the Titans (that never really happened), by waking Roddy up to the possibility that there was a real movement to evict him. She was the focal point of evil Roddy mojo his final week. She fell down in her spongesuit. Basically, Amy was where the action was, both game wise and entertainment wise. Honorable mentions: Dani - obviously running the game for the past few weeks. Roddy - pretty much ran the first half of the game Chiara - half the house was extremely irritating or obnoxious this year. Chiara led the list. Anyone who could make me forget about my hate for Josh and Tonya has to be a pretty important part of the show. |

Amy. Because of the reasons above. And because I loves me some Amy in a completely platonic sense.

Roddy. He influenced the way everyone played the game as Jason had pointed out on numerous ocasions.
To Roddy's way of thinking unless you played the game his way, with honesty & without deception, you were a menace to the entire house. At many points in the game Roddy tried to push forward his theory that if you lied during the game there was no way you could win at the end. Early on in the game Roddy got Eric & Chiara on side with this concept. In his eyes Jason & Lisa were there as useful pawns to be used to force votes his way. In my opinion Gerry & Josh became interchangable to Roddy as useful pairings to take to the final 2. The way Roddy brought his group together and into the same state of mind(voting wise) allowed for the formation of Danielle's group. Roddy's weakness was Chaira. Roddy should have lied once right at the begining and told Chiara he was in a long term relationship. |

...always in love with Amy.
She made every episode, and a huge portion of the live feeds extremely watchable. She was this year's Brittany. She spoke too loud, flirted very badly, drank too much, and yet you still ended up feeling a little sorry for her. She was vulnerable. She was pretty, sometimes stunningly beautiful. She was Miss Congeniality. She came back into the house and changed the mood from somber to light. She never took herself too seriously, she never took this game too seriously. She accepted every nomination with a minimum of fuss, which caused her to last a lot longer then other people who self destructed when nominated (Marcellus, I'm looking at you). |

AMY! By far the most entertaining, distruptive and tide changing hamster in BB3. Funny how a non-game player will stick with me the longest. Calling Amy the catalyst was a good term. All other players -- Dani, Roddy, Marc, Chiara etc -- had to RE-act to her actions. She might not benefit from her all her actions but others were scrambling when she acted. And she brought a "spark" into the house and made Marc funnier too. Lisa was right. The house came alive when she re-entered it.
Honerable mentions: Dani - she was brililant "in season" with her game play and marshalled the outcasts in time to save them from the (yawn) boring Roddy steamroller. Marc - if you could leave out his bashing (impossible I know) he would be in contention with Amy for the "most entertaining" part of this award. Roddy - I hate him and you need a villain, alas. A rather boring person but a villain at least you could really REALLY hate. Might have beens: Josh - He could stir the pot and I think Josh, had he survived, could have been a very interesting character in the game and perhaps a pivotal one as he moved from deal to deal keeping the pot on the boil all the time. He brought a lot of energy to the place. Negative energy but, hey, it is Big Brother. And he was always plotting and backstabbing, good stuff and a lot better than movie trivia. And I liked the image of a rabid ferret running loose in BB house. Chiara - For general pot stirring lite and cat fighting entertainment though I found the stuff with she and Roddy together boring myself. |

By far, Gerry, Lori and Lisa have been my favorite houseguests. I think that everyone around here knows that. However, between the three of them, they had little crucial impact on the retrospective look at the game.
I'm going to have to completely agree with everything that Meggin said. BB3 has come to be quite the boring snooze in these last few weeks, but Amy has held it together. Her rivalry with Chiara, her relationship with Marcellas - back when it was still good, etc. She was always a very interesting person to watch, no matter what you thought of her. Miss @#%$ may think different. Cheers, Amy Crews! |
